Term life
Coverage for a set number of years at a level premium. The most coverage for the least money.
Helping Texans protect the people who depend on them — from a licensed agent who answers the phone and explains the whole thing in plain English.
We are not a lead marketplace. Fill out this form and one agency calls you — ours. We never sell or share your details with other agents, and nothing here goes to a medical database.
A few quick questions. No obligation, no cost, no medical exam to fill this out.
Thanks — your request is with our office. We'll reach out to talk through how much coverage makes sense, what it would cost, and what the application actually involves.

What drives your rate
None of them are a secret, and understanding them puts you in a much better position before you ever fill out an application.
Life insurance is priced on the age you are when the policy is issued, and that price is locked for the length of a level term. Every birthday you wait costs more — which is the whole reason people say the best time to buy was a while ago.
Carriers rate on height and weight, blood pressure, medications, family history, and whether you use nicotine. Carriers weigh these differently, so the same person can be rated one way at one company and better at another. That difference is what an independent agent is for.
A 20-year term costs less than a 30-year term, and both cost far less than permanent coverage. Matching the length of the policy to the length of the obligation — the mortgage, the kids at home — is usually where the real money is saved.
What your options look like
Coverage for a set number of years at a level premium. The most coverage for the least money.
Does not expire while premiums are paid, and builds cash value. Costs more than term, but carries living benefits worth understanding.
Some term policies can become permanent coverage without proving your health again. Worth knowing before the term ends.
Add-ons like waiver of premium, child coverage, or access to the benefit if you become terminally ill.
Who receives the money, and how. Worth getting right, and worth revisiting after a life change.
It usually ends when the job does, and it is rarely enough on its own.
Who you'll be working with
Randall L. Knight Insurance Agency serves families across Texas from our office in Cypress. We place coverage with more than one carrier, so we can look at where your household actually fits instead of forcing it into a single company's box. When you request a quote here, it comes to our team — not to a network of agents who will call you for the next three weeks.
We'll talk through who depends on your income, what you already have, and what the application and underwriting process actually looks like — including whether an exam is likely. If we aren't the right fit, we'll tell you that too.
A few quick questions now, and we'll walk you through what the coverage would actually look like.
